Don’t listen to the “experts”

Well then, I think Obama ought to be shot, too!!!

In the ass and then tarred and feathered and run back to Africa.  And while we are at it, in the manner of Al Capone in his infamous rant in “The Untouchables,” Harry Reid?!! I want  him dead.  Nancy Pelosi?!! Dead.  All those other communist bastards in the House and Senate? Dead, dead, DEAD!!! Oh, and Secret Service, screw you, it’s my right to want anybody I want dead, and to even blog about it, because this, dear friends, is a freeeeee fucking country. At least for a little while longer.

Man’s call for Obama assassination is free speech, not crime, court rules

Who said this?

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our government’s reckless fiscal policies . . . Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

Hint, he wants to raise the debt limit $2.5 TRILLION until after his (he hopes) presidential inauguration.  The answer may surprise you.

Pat Buchanan gets it exactly right: Do not cave on tax increases

Even a blind pig finds an acorn occasionally:

“The Establishment is in a panic. It has been jolted awake to the realization that the GOP House, if it can summon the courage to use it, is holding a weapon that could enable it to bridle forever the federal monster that consumes 25 percent of gross domestic product.

“To bully and blackmail the GOP into surrendering the weapon and betraying its principles and signing on to new taxes, that establishment has unleashed rhetoric more befitting a war on terror than a political dispute.”

But if the Republicans had not taken control of congress we would not even be having any discussions about cutting the budget. Hell, we’ld probably have Porkulus II and III and IV ad nauseum.  Nobody ran on raising taxers–not the Pubs and not even the Dems. So we would not be having any discussion of raising taxes during this double dip recession.

But since the Pubs expressly campaigned on cutting government spending, suddenly Dems are trying to tie spending cuts to tax increases. The Dems don’t give a fuck about deficits.  They only care about spending increases.  And tax increases give them more to spend in the long run.

Hold firm Republicans. The one tool that you have in your arsenal is the debt ceiling. As soon as you cave raise the debt ceiling, your leverage evaporates, and it is business back to as usual in Hog Heaven.

Obama’s economic record

From a Human Events article by Merrill Matthews

Obama’s Record Energy:

Gasoline was $1.67 a gallon then. It’s now $3.79.

Food: Average cost of a gallon of milk was about $2.65. It’s about $3.50 today.

Housing: The median cost of a home was $229,600. Today it’s $217,900.

Budget deficit: We fell $438 billion short of balancing the federal budget in 2008. We missed it by $1.4 trillion this year—nearly four times higher.

U.S. debt: Total federal debt was $10.7 trillion then. It’s $14.5 trillion now—nearly 50% higher.

Unemployment: Then, 7.3% of Americans were unemployed and 9.1% are unemployed today.

To be fair, not everyone has done poorly under Obama. Federal government employees have made out like bandits. Mercatus Center (George Mason University) economist Veronique de Rugy noted last January that “federal employment has grown by 98,000 employees since the start of the recession.” And USA Today reported last year: “Federal civil servants earned average pay and benefits of $123,049 in 2009 while private workers made $61,051 in total compensation, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.”

[Get rid of the fucking hope and change…]

One reason why people drink…

come on, I laughed.

Obama bogeys while America burns

Darn those pesky Republicans for not raising the debt limit!

Obama and Democrat’s running away from actually proposing a budget reminds me of the classic cereal commercial for the new kind of (Life””) cereal the boys were afraid to try: “You try it?”  “I’m not gonna try, youuuuu try it!” “Hey, I know, let’s get Mikey to try it! He hates everything!” [crunch munch crunch] “He LIKES it! Hey Mikey!” [I was able to quote it almost verbatim from seeing it 35 years ago…they don’t make commercials that good very often.]  Obviously, the Republicans are Mikey, and they are the only ones proposing a budget. It is much easier to poke holes in somebody elses’ proposal than to actually propose one yourself. Besides, you can never be accused of proposing “unconscionable,” “inhumane,” “cruel,” “un-American,” “unfair” and/or “hateful” budget cuts if you never propose any budget cuts.

Obama is a genius!  Just remember class, it’s Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin who are the real dumbies!

California chasing away businesses

Feel good hippy-dippy policies and socialism and anti-business attitudes are leaving businesses little choice but to flee The Socialist Republic of California.  Their loss is Texas’ and Florida’s and Tennessee’s and Utah’s (etc.) gain.

From The Orange County Register:  “Why do these and the other companies move out of California? [Irvine, California relocation consultant Joe] Vranich has updated his top 10 reasons that California companies call the moving van.

“No. 10 is new: Energy costs soaring because of new laws and regulations. Commercial electrical rates are already 50% higher than the rest of the country, Vranich says, and Gov. Jerry Brown just signed a new law increasing the amount of power utilities must buy from renewable sources plus regulations for the California Global Warming Solutions Act will start soon.

“The other reasons, Vranich says, are:
9. High and unfair tax treatment
8. Regulatory burden
7. Unfriendly legal environment for business
6. Most expensive place to do business
5. Provable savings elsewhere
4. Public policies and taxes create unfriendly business climate
3. Uncontrollable public spending
2. More adversarial toward business than any other state
1. Poor rankings for California on lists ranging from taxes to crime rates to school dropout rates.”

Bwaahaaahaaaa! When socialists and dirty stinking hippies  reap what they sow it is a very good thing.  But here’s what I fear. When the Californias and New Yorks and Illinoises of the USA lose too much of their businesses and their citizens, look for them to band together to get the federal government to force higher taxes and other socialist causes on the states that are drawing all the business and new citizens. It’s already happened once with Boeing. But that is just the tip of the iceberg I fear.  We. Just. Can’t. Make it to easy for businesses to up and flee Californication.

And fucking pigs wonder why everybody hates them so much

Lady gets arrested in Rochester who was arrested for video-taping a police stop in front of her home.  Later during a neighborhood meeting in support of arrestee, four different patrol cars show up and ticket her supporters vehicles for being parked more than 12″ from the curb.  Video of this crime fighting at its finest shows that one car that was ticketed was approximately 12 1/2 inches from the curb.

Ethanol Subsidies: FUCK YOU IOWA FARMERS

Produce food you greedy bastards. Sell corn for food.  At the market price–not at some propped up that the poor cannot afford. You’ve held us via our elected officials over a barrel for more than three decades.  No. More>
