Regarding my previous post–I remembered  the perfect campaign theme song for Lisa “The Loser” Murkowski!  (For the record, I love this song and apologize to the late Jim Carroll for using it on “The Loser”)

Lisa the Loser Going the Write-in Route(?)

You may recall from a couple of weeks ago how Joe Miller defeated sitting United States Senator Lisa Murkowski in the Alaska primary.  I voted for him and I’ll admit I was surprised that he actually won.  Then there was talk Murkowski would try to run on the Libertarian line (snicker).

Now, for God’s sweet sake, she is apparently going to go the write-in route.  I really didn’t think she’d do it, but in this crazy, wonderful year my formerly near-perfect record of prognostication has been shattered, battered and tattered.

I used to have some respect for the Senator but Bye-Bye Birdie.  This is the culmination of 28 years of Murkowski family entitlement.

America is in a civil war

Don’t accept the false premise that a vote for Republicans is a vote for the old Bush/Cheney regime.  Don’t accept the false premise that Tea Partiers are anti-government.  We are trying to [bloodlessly, so far] re-take our government from big-spenders in both parties who are bankrupting our country and turning the government into freedom destroying Big Brother.  You either with us or you are going to get run over.

Fatwas, DA Investigations…WTF…Islam is Out of Control

First we had Theo Van Gogh who after making a film about Islam, was murdered after a fatwa was issued on him by Muslim clerics. Then we have Kurt Westergaard who is fearful for his life after drawing the first series of Mohammedan cartoons. Now we have Molly Norris who started a “draw Mohammad day”. She has been advised by the FBI to disappear herself.

Next we have a pastor of a very small church in Florida who decides to have a “Burn the Koran day” on the anniversary of 9/11. After much publicity and hand wringing by the main stream media and members of the current political party in power, the pastor decides to call off the book burning. But he has started a shit-storm and korans are being burned all over the country. A New Jersey transit worker tore out a page of the koran and struck a match to it and lost his job because of it. People were burning korans at their homes and sending the videos to YouTube, who was deleting them almost as fast as they were appearing.

Now we have a guy in East Lansing, Mich., who burned a koran on the steps of an Islamic community center. His identity has not been released yet, but there are calls for him to be arrested and charged for a “hate crime”. The police are investigating the incident.

What is wrong with this picture? It’s a “sacred right” for a person to burn a Christian Bible or an American flag, but it’s a “hate crime” to burn another nation’s flag or to burn a koran? Things are really upside down in this country right now. It’s got to change.

Reggie Bush should not have to forfeit the Heisman Trophy

I can’t say it much better than this guy:

“It’s garbage that Reggie Bush had to give up the Heisman Trophy. If he were using performance-enhancing drugs then yes take it away, but he won the trophy on the field. He was the best player that year. He accepted gifts, yes, but he didn’t commit a crime. Guys like O.J. Simpson and Billy Cannon have spent time in prison and they still have their Heisman Trophies.”

I’d tell them to go to hell.  Come git my trophy when you pry it out of my cold dead hands.  This is just more of the plantation mentality being forced onto college players.  Shut up they say, play ball for peanuts while we the coaches and colleges get rich.  No gifts. No talking to agents.  Get hurt, permanently? Tough. Life’s a bitch.  Now where are those millions we just made off the television rights?

Allahpundit you IGNORANT SLUT!

“Unity over: DeMint rips GOP establishment in fundraising e-mail” screams the headline from The Ignorant One. As if, you stupid slut.  “Unity” has been a facade used by moderates to keep conservatives in line for decades. “Party Unity” is code word for, “hey you conservative rubes, support the RINO candidate.”  But when the Establishment RINO candidate loses? Suddenly they switch and support their Democrat opponent (Scozzafava), they throw out all their old supposed positions on the issues and become “Independents” (Crist), or they try to get religion quick and become “Libertarians” (Murbitchcowski).   If they are just political commentators, they turn on the conservative nominee when their RINO friend of Biden and Harry Reid loses, e.g., Rove and Krauthammer. 

“Party unity” my ass.   You scum sucking RINOs have been bending us conservatives over for years, conveniently being too busy to support or vote for conservatives.  You want unity? Then quit actively attacking the conservatives who win the nomination.  If we are having a civil war in the party it is because RINOs who are in the minority are pissed at the conservative majority actually standing up and asserting their voices. 

We are all supposedly fighting for the same thing: fiscal discipline.  No conservative candidate is running on social issues. That is what you fickle social liberals want, isn’t it?  If not, if you are really a social and fiscal liberal, then what the hell are you doing calling yourself  Republicans for anyway? Because Daddykins did? Because all your little faggot Country Club buddies are Republicans? 

We will not have unity unless and until the RINOs quit fighting the conservatives who won the primaries fair and square.  I have no problem with a fair fight on the issues in the primaries (O’Donnell was not a fair fight–you wrongfully attacked her on bogus personal affairs instead of her stance on the issues).  But when the primaries are done then unite behind the REPUBLICAN candidate.  Or do you somehow not believe what you preach that the Republican candidate (at least when he or she is a RINO) is better than any Democrat?  Don’t answer that.  I think I know the real answer…

The Politics of Personal Destruction on Display, aka “The Nuts and Sluts Defense”

There is an old saying in the law: If the facts are against you, argue the law.  If the law is against you, argue the facts. If the law and the facts are against you, yell like crazy and try to distract them. 

Quick, can anybody tell me one  ISSUE that RINOs and/or now Democrats are running on against Christine O’Donnell? Anybody? Bueller?   Bueller?

Nope. Neither can I.  It’s all “she once advocated against masturbation” [probably until she tried it], or she believes the earth is 6,000 years old [can’t blame her there–I’m skeptical of all so-called “scientists” as I’ve seen their work on global warming].  Or gets this really hot burning issue: She claimed to have graduated from college but her diploma was withheld until she paid her entire debt.  Oh, and here’s another tried and true winner: she’s not a millionaire!  But notice that nobody is taking issue with any of her stated positions?

Granted, some might argue that she has no political experience so how can they disagree with her on actual votes that she has taken?  I’ve never voted on anything, either, but I think most readers here know how I would vote on most issues.  Right Sheldon?  😉  

Her campaign has been on cutting spending in Washington.  And that resonates with the voters.  So much so that the Bearded Marxist Opponent is also touting his fiscal responsibility on his website.  His strategy? To lie and disassemble his record so that voters won’t see what a leftist he is, and to try to pass himself off as a moderate.   I call it the Obama-lite strategy, because that is what King Obama did in order to reach the presidency.
