Old Guy, Young Guy Music Video

Since I’m now 50 and thus terminally non-hip, I find it encouraging that my five-year-old son likes a lot of the same music I do.  I commented some time ago on John Doe’s post about Dr. Hook’s Cover of the Rolling Stone, which the boyo just loves.  He was also most enthusiastic about this one, which makes me feel like a pretty cool Dad:

“Dad, play the short skirt girl song!”

Have a great weekend.

Miss USA opposes Grond Zero Mosque, and looks damn good in a bikini doing it!

by Doug  Hagin

Perhaps we can witness the formation of a new group of attractive women opposing the Jihad Center in New York. Hotties for America?

(NY P0st) — The reigning Miss USA has come out against the Ground Zero mosque, saying “it shouldn’t be so close” to Ground Zero.

The 24-year-old Rima Fakih, is the first Muslim winner of the Miss USA contest and is preparing for the Miss Universe Pageant, scheduled for Monday in Las Vegas.

“I totally agree with President Obama with the statement on Constitutional rights of freedom of religion,” Fakih told “Inside Edition” in an interview that will air tonight.

“I also agree that it shouldn’t be so close to the World Trade Center. We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion.”
