Michael Steele must go

Fire him, or whatever they do to an RNC Chairman.  What an incompetent boob.  Didn’t you think that the lefties would be all over such a dumb comment?  “We really haven’t given blacks a reason to vote Republican.”

But besides being ignorant for throwing a propaganda bone to the looney left, the comment shows how ignorant you are.  Blacks don’t want a strong defense?  Blacks don’t want vouchers to escape terrible public schools?  Blacks don’t care if ObamaPelosiReid bankrupt our country and stagnate our economy?

I don’t care that Steele is black.  I don’t care that he was talking to blacks.  If any RNC Chair said such a dumb thing to any large group of people, I’d want them fired.  No, you Hispanics have no reason to vote for the GOP.  You old farts don’t either.  You Ivy Leaguers don’t either.  You GLBT whatevers don’t either.  Unless you love America and and don’t want to turn it into a third-world country with a two-bit dictatorship running it.  Sheesh!

What’s good for America is to throw the current Dems out of office. Since that isn’t self-evident to this moron, send him packing.  And as usual Dan Reihl doesn’t get it.

That’s John Doe’s opinion.  What’s yours?

For several months I have been on the fence regarding Steele. I’m ready to jump off and say let him so. But maybe not for the same reason as everyone else.

Michael Steele’s recent comment was not so much wrong as woefully incomplete. TO be perfectly honest, I agree with the first part of his assertion – the RNC has NOT historically done enough to reach out to some ethnic groups. Instead the RNC has ceded that fight to one it cannot win. THIS is where Steele loses my support.

Conservative ideology need know no ethnic border. There are people of all races and creeds who believe in Conservative principals. White, Black, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander – doesn’t matter. The message rings true within all groups. As an educated man of a particular ethnic heritage, Steele should be EMBRACING this outreach, and taking ACTION to rectify it. Not simply making excuses as to why it’s been done that way before.

I am now convinced Steele is not equipped to succeed in this position – not for white GOP members; and especially not for GOP faithful of any other group. And the longer he stays on the job – botching the job – the more damage the GOP will inflict upon itself in upcoming elections.

Or, to say it another way – Steele will have the GOP snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. It’s time, he has to go.

  2. As long as we are firing one black, I vote we replace him with another: J.C. Watts. That diffuses the “they fired him cuz he’s black” and puts a guy 10x more qualified, articulate and smart (and right on the issues) in the position. It would drive the liberals batshit to have a black GOP spokesman who actually knows what the hell he is doing.

I don’t know all his views, but I’ve never heard him say anything with which I disagree, and he is always so diplomatic.

I like J.C. and would be happy to see him in any capacity helpful to Conservatives. I’d like to start with Congress and go from there…
