The President’s address to the Joint Session of Congress was truly historic

Not just because it was delivered by the first black African-American President. But also because seated behind him was “the first mentally retarded woman as speaker of the house.”  I can hear Sarah Palin exhorting her youngest child, “Don’t despair Trig! If that stupid bitch Pelosi can become Speaker, you can be an astrophysicist!”
