They “discovered” another 100 votes for Al Franken!
“In Virginia, there is no provision for an automatic recount, but candidates who lose by less than 1 percent of the vote can ask for a re-tabulation. As of 3:37 p.m. yesterday, Perriello led in the vote count 157,456 to 157,425, a difference of .01 (or 49.97 percent to 49.96 percent). Continue reading
“all the hunters gather up, we have a #$%&er in the whitehouse”?
How many liberal punks were kicked out for saying FU#& Bush, KILL BUSH, etc.?
UPDATE: ARRRGGGH! I HATE IT when I post the same thing as Megan has already posted on her blog. Makes me look like I’m copying her. Oh, well, great minds think alike? Or this perverted mind occasionally thinks like her great mind?
This kind of “thinking” leads to Christians going to communes, or living as the Amish, or living as nuns and monks. Basically, because we haven’t won the cultural war we should give up the fight, cede victory to the godless heathen. I realize we will never win, we will only slow them down. But to declare defeat and give up is to abdicate our duty to be salt in a godless world. (Or, to just join the other side and support the forces of godlessness, as Dr. Aldrich and seth have done.)
Palin has more class in her little finger than the mean and spiteful people on McCain’s staff.
“Palin’s response to the campaign fragging? At a late Wednesday night airport press conference in Anchorage, immediately upon landing home after the election defeat, she smiled cheerfully. The Alaska governor shrugged off the “foolish things” said by the McCain saboteurs, and simply said, “It’s politics. … It’s rough and tumble and you’ve got to have a thick skin just like I’ve got.” Continue reading
“For now, we have a new president-elect. In the spirit of reaching across the aisle, we owe it to the Democrats to show their president the exact same kind of respect and loyalty that they have shown our recent Republican president.” Continue reading
“Although I have not always been the most outspoken advocate of President-Elect Barack Obama, today I would like to congratulate him and add my voice to the millions of fellow citizens who are celebrating his historic and frightening election victory. I don’t care whether you are a conservative or a liberal — when you saw this inspiring young African-American rise to our nation’s highest office I hope you felt the same sense of patriotic pride that I experienced, no matter how hard you were hyperventilating with deep existential dread.” Continue reading
They. Will. Never. Stop. So neither will I.
California voters said only a man and a woman could marry. The Cali Supreme Court overruled the will of the people. Then the people voted again and passed a law defining marriage. Now queers are rioting and they have already filed lawsuits to overturn (again) the will of the people. (I have already predicted the queers will win and have Prop 8 thrown out by the Sup Ct.)
Too many good people just throw up their hands and say it is “none of my business” or not worth the fight. They don’t see why it is important to not change the definition of marriage to include same sex marriage.
A major strength of our country has been our individual families, each between a man and a woman. Welfare and immorality were major destructive forces in inner cities through out our country in the past 30-40 years. The break down in the families lead to entire generations of women raising broods of children by various fathers, living off welfare, growing up poor. Fatherless boys grew up to be crooks and drug dealers, while fatherless girls grew up to be welfare mothers. Hollywood glorifies women who have bastard children with their latest leading man. Meanwhile, when young girls in the heartlands immulate them, they condemn themselves and their children to poverty and great difficulty in the real world. Continue reading
Our “legal system” sucks. Palin fired some dumbass who went around undermining her official positions. The vultures were all over her. Spitzer spent thousands (some reports say upwards of $80,000) on whores but is let off. AFTER the pimps were forced to plead guilty, so it is not like they let everybody off, just the “Mr. Clean” Governor. Now I’m all for not piling on and letting people move on, but I demand equality under the law. Either the pimps did nothing wrong, or the Gov should have been prosecuted, too. At least that creep Spitzer will never be a prosecutor again. He was a bully who misused his office to extort money from companies. Good riddance. Continue reading
