Being a Packer fan literally saved a man’s life! I read the article and the comments and 1) learned of a disease that I did not know existed; and 2) learned of another reason to give blood. I’m a blood donor, shouldn’t you be one, too?
Israel starts new experiment: Sign a donor card, and you and your family move up in line for a transplant if one is needed. Caveat: a good friend who is an EMT says they don’t try as hard when it is an organ donor. Ugh. I’m an organ donor, shouldn’t you be one, too?

Do you recognize him? Per the NY Daily News, He did not even know that he recently became an internet sensation until his 13 year old grand-son told him.
Given 4th class Order of Merit by Russia in 2009.
Hint: he is famous for singing a cowboy song, back in 1976, without the lyrics, because of fear that Soviet censors would not allow the lyrics. Go here to learn who he is.
