There is a reason that people should listen to Rush Limbaugh. I caught his show for about twenty minutes yesterday and heard this gem, which I paraphrase:
Why he doesn’t support a Commission to study cutting the debt? It would be as though Rush burned down a house, witnessed by millions after it was caught on T.V. cameras and broadcast nationwide. He’s guilty, the entire country knows it, but instead of accepting blame and being punished, he denies guilt and appoints several cronies to a Commission to study the arson and place the blame on somebody else.
Congress created this problem, and Congress should be blamed for the problem, and Congress should fix the problem, not foist it off on some bipartisan “Commission.”
