Butt wait, there’s more! Angel reminds me of a Dr. Suess book I had when I was a kid, “Yertle the Turtle” to be exact. And more specifically, “Gertrude McFuzz” was a second or third story in the book. Lola reminds me of Gertrude.

Gertrude had a rather plain, single “tail feather.” She had a rival who had two tail feathers that were bigger than hers. She asked for help, was referred to a plant whose berries caused tail feathers to grow, and she ate so many of the berries that her tail feathers grew so large that she couldn’t fly. A bunch of other birds had to go get her, fly her home, and pluck out all those new tail feathers. In the end, she learned to be content with her modest tail feather.
