The Government global warming scam

– “A new proposal to curb global warming could jump start stalled Senate greenhouse gas discussions and put an average of $1,100 a year back into the pockets of American consumers.”

“Known as cap-and-dividend, the recently introduced bill would require oil, coal, and natural gas companies to buy permits each month to sell their fuel. Three quarters of the proceeds would be returned to the public each month in the form of a dividend check, with the remaining money going towards renewable energy, conservation or assistance programs.”

For those too idiotic to know what this is all about (of course that does not apply to any of my regular readers), this is just a scam to increase the taxes on oil, coal and natural gas, by bribing those too stupid to realize what is really happening, in order to further the global warming alarmists’ agenda. 

Here, pay attention: Govt increases costs to produce gas $100 per “unit”, Govt gives $75 per “unit”  to citizens, and keeps $25 per “unit” to pay for do-gooder global warming crap.  Gas company then passes entire cost of $100 off on consumers, who have to use their $75 they got from the Govt, and another $25 of their own money, to purchase gasoline. But, hey, they got that $75 check in the mail from the Govt so it is allllll good.  Here is something we can do for free to fight global warming. But if you insist on spending money to fight global warming, purchase carbon offsets here, and here.
