Obama shout out to “Congressional Medal of Honor” winner was a blooper

From Newsbusters, the man was not a medal of honor winner. He was a “Medal of Freedom” winner.  The Medal of Freedom is our nation’s highest medal for civilians, and certainly nothing to scoff at, but the Pres was dead wrong.  Minor detail, you say? Obama awarded the man the medal himself just 3 months earlier.  I’d like to give a shout out to our lame duck, smartest President evah!  Don’t go off teleprompter, son!  You ain’t smart enough.

IF I believed that “my side” of an issue or a debate was correct, I’d do everything in my power to get my side out to the other side. If the White House really was only interested in getting the truth out, they’d fall all over themselves to get on big bad old Fox News to set their listeners straight.  But the White House isn’t interested in getting the truth out, they are only interested in isolating Fox News. And in teaching the other media outlets a lesson as to what happens if they don’t toe the line and spew only approved White House propaganda. 

Hear those crickets chirping? It is the only sound that you will hear from the other news outlets. No protest, no outrage, no whisper of dissent at the White House. 

[Pat] Caddell [former pollster to Jimmy Carter, and Fox News contributor] added: “I have heard that they’ve done that to others in not-too-subtle ways. I find it appalling. When the White House gets in the business of suppressing dissent and comment, particularly from its own party, it hurts itself.”

Congressman Owens ran as a centrist. Now he will govern as a full-blooded Pelosi liberal.  The deck was stacked against us, with two liberals running, so that whomever won the liberal position would prevail. At the last second, the voters were given a conservative alternative in Hoffman. He almost won. But enough voters were hoodwinked by Owens’ lies that he squeaked by.
