Then PlayBoy happened. The 70s hippies happened. ”If it feels good do it” happened.  Divorce, extra-marital sex and pre-marital sex, began to be more and more acceptable. Having children out of wedlock became more accepted.

And bathing suits got skimpier and skimpier…

Very little was off limits. Topless started in Europe and spread to America (topless has been happnin at Miami Beach since at least the early 80s. Granted, not all of ‘em yet, but some.)
