I just learnt some disturbing news

Long story short, a GOOD buddy who died a while back always told me he was a Nam Vet. I recently pulled up his old obituary and it said he spent three years in the Marine Corps with overseas service in Okinawa. It won’t change  how I feel about the guy–he was a bestest bud, but I just want to know, was I duped all those years?  Would any family say something like that when what they meant was he was a Nam Vet? [names and facts have been changed to protect the innocent.] Was I duped all those years?

What would Dems do [if Obama had lost]? A Google search of images using just “Bush” revealed some of the hatred that they have spewed in the past 8 years. Perhaps that is why I refuse to give Obama a free pass. Forget, hell. I’m just biding my time.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Good: Obama is using the Presidential Bully Pulpit to great advantage. Even by going around with an obvious photo op painting walls in homeless shelters. GWB was like a hermit living off in a cave or off at his ranch. Sorry, bub, you want the job, then do the job. Don’t sit off on your ass and let your party go to hell. Obama is reaching out to McCain. Might as well, you know the little bastard will do whatever it takes to get back in the lime-light. And in this case it is being Obama’s beard, giving cover to the lie that Obama is really a centrist when he is really a flaming leftist.
